As part of the Arctic Symphony project, I collaborated with several talented individuals to bring my research to life through a performance. Ewa Ziemiecka, an architect and dancer, performed the dance, making the temporal Arctic landscape visible through her motion. Bintang Manira Manik, a musician and composer, created a musical piece reflecting the dynamic seasons. Alex Kirschstein, an architect and photographer, documented the entire performance, capturing its fluidity and emotion
The performance was based on my research and aimed to interpret graphical scores that reflect the diverse seasons in the Arctic landscape. I created these scores to analyze various themes affecting the motion and sound of the river and the surrounding environment. These scores were fundamental to the performance, visually representing the temporal transformations of the Arctic landscape. You can see some of these scores included below.
